Chic WFH-Approved Fall Outfits
Since fall is here, I prepared some new items for my wardrobe. I wanted items that focused on two main things - cuteness on the top and comfort on the bottom-- perfect for WFH. I also value my clothing not getting too wrinkly (steaming is for when I actually have to leave the house). You can watch my video here.
Tops
I got a plethora of tops: casual & pretty. I want to make pretty shirts and casual pants work! Since I want to look cute for meetings but I also want to be able to sit criss cross applesauce when I work all day. As for the abundance of black for all the tops, black is the best color for the slimming effect because it hides shadows very well. Can be hot in the summer, but I’m inside all day anyways…
I ended up not keeping the organza shirt (the one with the puff sleeves on the side) since it seemed to be badly constructed. I also exchanged the blue top because a button fell off.
Bottoms
Adidas pants are hype and they’re great. My legs feel SO comfortable in all of these. I wish there was more compression in the biker shorts but I could’ve gotten the TNA Atmosphere biker shorts instead of the TNA Chill, if that’s what you’re looking for. I did exchange the less compression leggings for the athletic material ones as well.
Outerwear
These have been great when I want to cover a bit more for my meetings or be warmer.
Dresses
Dresses give a bunch of space for my legs to do whatever they want and there’s the added bonus that I only need to pick ONE item of clothing instead of TWO! Isn’t that amazing???
Also the blue dress I had to return because A BUTTON FELL OFF TOO. I exchanged it for a similar one that is longer with a different type of sleeve.
Aritzia’s loungewear is no joke. But also $$$. If you have the opportunity to try it, I would recommend it. Zara is TERRIBLE with buttons.
Please do not spend money on clothes unless you have it budgeted.
